- Who does SUAA serve?
- SUAA represents current employees, retired individuals, their spouses and their survivors who will or are receiving benefits from the State Universities Retirement System.
- What benefits are there for being a member?
- SUAA is your voice at the Capitol and SUAA works hard to make it heard LOUD and clear by the legislators. SUAA provides a communication network through emails, legislative bulletins, websites, workshops and meetings that inform and update you on both local and state issues relative to and focused on your pension and healthcare benefits.
- Can I join online and is my payment information secure?
- Yes, the online enrollment form is on the home page. Click Here to Join Now! Your payment is actually processed through PayPal, which is a trusted, secure site for payment processing. PayPal takes securing your financial information very seriously, and always uses the latest anti-fraud technology. PayPal will never share your financial information with SUAA or any other merchant.
- How much are SUAA dues?
- SUAA State Office dues are $39.00 a year. Chapter dues vary by chapter and the combined rate for your chapter and the SUAA State Office dues can be found on the Join Now page.
- When is my membership due?
- Your membership will be due one year from when you last paid. You will receive a renewal in the mail approximately one month prior to your due date. Please contact the State Office at [email protected] or (217) 523-4040 if you are unsure. If your membership has lapsed (2 months past your membership dues date) you will not be able to renew online. Please call the SUAA office and we will be happy to help you.
